David Lang is a Los Angeles based travel columnist for the Sing Tao Daily and a travel contributor to The World Journal, the two largest Chinese language dailies published in North America. He is also a special columnist for The Graceful Traveler, a travel website published in China. His articles have also appeared in the Chinese edition of Travel+Leisure, Travel+, Travel Weekly China and other publications in China.

David has served as a special consultant for China International Travel Services (CITS), a media consultant for the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB), and as a PR consultant for Cathay Pacific Airways and China Southern Airlines.

David is a long-time member of the Society of American Travel Writers (SATW). He is currently the Chair of SATW’s Western Chapter. Born and raised in Hong Kong, he has lived in Canada, England and the United States, and graduated from the London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE) with a Masters degree in International Relations.

David is a lifelong supporter of the Manchester United Football Club and is a big fan of Hayao Miyazaki’s animated films.
